Just in time for my trip! I had this pre-ordered and was hoping it would drop. Luckily I got it before getting on my 14.5 hour flight! #NowReading2022 “The Golden Enclaves” by Naomi Novik. Book 3 (and conclusion?) of the Scholomance series

Good idea. And if you only need to do a couple at a time then it is pretty easy. I suppose I could do this. The park is not that far.

Day 26 down for #CraigsGymClass. So thankful for the plank break! Not happy about 4,4,4.5, and 5 planks coming up for the rest of the week 😢. Splitting them up into front, Left and Right has actually helped a lot, and I appreciate the more rounded core workout.

When walking the halls of the Kyoto State Guest House here and there you will see these amazing floor lamps. Origami-inspired, these lamps are made with paper and wood, pure joinery and no nails!

One of my favourite features of the Fuji no Ma at the Kyoto State Guest House is the *kirigane* the gold work on the wooden sliding doors for the stage. Also note the inlaid wisteria design

Oh Lordy! This is the stuff I was worried about. I might just take a nap on the bench and peruse some of the shops. Not worth risking! Thank you!

One thing I didn’t talk about in my post (see up thread) is the lighting. Each one of those lighting units can be lowered or raised to give all sorts of cool effects 🪩

Immigration is one thing, and the other thing to worry about is security getting back in. This is why I am thinking it is risky. Maybe just explore every nook and cranny of Heathrow? Any recommendations? 😊

I’d love to go up to Tottenham but that seems too far out of the way for such a short window. So I was thinking just down to Westminster, walk on the Bridge, look at Big Ben, walk to Trafalgar. Maybe to St Paul’s, but just on the steps. Not go in anywhere.

Thanks Tim. That’s basically what I was thinking. Maybe budget 1.5 hours for a stroll to some of the major sites in the City, have fish & chips, then back to the airport. But with rail strikes etc…

Requesting advice: I am transiting through Heathrow. I will be landing at 6:30am, but not leaving until 3:30pm. Quite a long layover. Is there enough time to pop out and visit one or two spots? How risky a proposition?

All caught up on #CraigsGymClass 💪
Only 5 days to go, 3 of which I will be travelling for. If I start doing squats+pushups in an airport you think they’ll ground me? Maybe a good idea to wait until the hotel. I will have massive jetlag so will need something to do at night.

Missed out a couple days of #CraigsGymClass due to bad scheduling, so today is a catch-up day. Did 24 and 22. Tomorrow will be 25+23.
Planks are too long now so I am breaking them up to Center, Left, and Right. Sides burning! 🔥 🔥 🔥

Yesterday was a rest day for #CraigsGymClass. I did the light squats and push-ups, but skipped the 2.5min plank to give my shoulders a rest. Today was full on. COMPLETE ✅

I am not sure if this is relevant in Japan, but are there any issues around obtaining abortions in 赤十字病院?
I think I recall that being an issue in the US years ago… before they turned into a full blown religious state

After taking a walk along the river with my daughter, checking out the herons and ducks, I came home and did my #CraigsGymClass. It was cloudy outside, but even now there is no rain and just a little wind in Kyoto. Typhoon basically passed us by 🤷♂️Seeing tons of damage on TV tho
