It is a converted elementary school. This is the old gym which has walls of racks organized by year from 1912 to 2005. Displays show the history of manga production (here’s a shot showing the money flows explaining why manga artists are not rich)

In McDonalds with the kids — everything is Tsukimi-themed 🌙 🐇 Takeaway bags printed with a moonlit scene; Tsukimi Pie with anko & a special McFlurry; and the chicken nuggets have a Yuzu-shichimi dipping sauce (which is how they ate chicken nuggets in the Heian period I’m sure)

But that being said, I strongly lean towards community vs individual. So, way on the anarchist side and away from the libertarian side. “Communitarianism” (which has a number of different — and problematic — definitions)

Never read any Bookchin myself. I just know him through the anarchism stuff I have read while exploring David Graeber’s work. There are so many fragments and sub-branches to follow up on!
But in general, whether climate or otherwise, I prefer devolution of power to the local.

Last weekend I went to the Sailor Moon show at USJ with my daughter. It was win-win. My daughter had no idea what was going on so I explained it all to her and now she understands the basics… and I could get into the show without looking like a weirdo coz I was with her! 💪✨😅
