@RevLeftRadio Have you (or any of your spin-off/sister podcasts) done anything on Southeast Asia? I mean OTHER than Vietnam. More like Indonesia, Malaya, etc. Anti colonial thought there goes way back. “Bandung Spirit” would make an excellent episode topic!

@ChukaEjeckam just went back and listened to your RevLeft ep on Fred Hampton. What did you think of Judas? Have you published anything anywhere about it yet?

Just finished Judas and the Black Messiah, one of the films I was looking forward to for 2021. So many great things to say about this film (Kaluuya is POWERFUL, and I stan LaKeith’s 👀) but I need to take some time to process.

Beauty of a day here on #Ikijima #壱岐 so we visited some local shrines, got some GOLD omikuji, sat on some lava rocks by the ocean and watched the boats go by. Shortsleeves weather in Feb! 🥰 But I need to work on my tan! 🏳️

I did a rotenburo but unfortunately no floating yuzu. What it did have was a perfect view of Yufudake, and a massive rock on the edge of the pool that looked just like Yufudake. Also, i was the only one there which was great!

A very pretty Clydesdale if I recall (not a 🤠 so don’t quote me on that… some sort of draft horse anyways. We later saw it pulling a wagon full of tourists!)

I always live tweet while travelling. It isn’t polished “influencer” style stuff, and I know it won’t be seen by everyone. It is raw and in the moment. I will usually do a wrap up album on Flickr or a blog post, but something about sharing in the moment with you all is fun. ✌️

I have seriously thought of just adopting her last name to make things easier. My last name is horrendous to spell in both rōmaji AND katakana… her’s is 3 letters. But then my name in English contexts would be “Chadito” and I don’t think people would take me seriously! 😅
