The only thing I dislike about Scrivener is its text-formatting, which is based on the TextEdit engine, which IMHO blows goats. I use Pages.

I wrote my master’s thesis using Scrivener. It was perfect for my workflow. Plus, everything is kept in one doc, so backup is easy.
