BTW, do any Japan-hands know about a regional expat mag for Nagoya? Something Kansai Time Out or Metropolis for the Chubu region?

OR people sign up at the lower price, but end up using more because that is how psychology of economics works: short-term gains over long.

Either the Japanese aren’t using data as much as SB projected, or SB thinks more people will sign up at the lower price to offset.

2 problems with new Delicious: color scheme is too light, and the bookmarklet no longer shows a tag cloud. Otherwise, I like it.

Do you speak Japanese? How would you support an iPhone app in Japanese? Is there much support even necessary? What about iTrans?
(original)
-
All in all pretty simple I would say. Too bad I am not a programmer.
(original)
-
“Show me the nearest station” would simply send you to the Maps app, GPS your current location and overlay a KMZ of stations within 1km.
(original)
-
Maps would simply be a collection of high-res downloadable maps (by city) that you could pinch zoom your way around like the Photo app.
(original)
-
Route Calculation would be like the Ekitan site where you input your start/end points and it give you routes, time and fees.
(original)
-
My Japanese transit app would have three modes: Route Calculation, Maps, and Nearest Station. I think http://ekitan.com would be the maker.
