I showed my daughter a photo of me at 12 with the bike I got for my birthday.
“See? Just like you!”
“There is no way you are 12 in this picture. It is in colour!”

We got the 2021 which is the new design. It’s pretty nice, not sporty like T. It has a roomy trunk, and is small. But the turning radius could be better. I joke that it is “your dad’s EV” because I am a dad who drives an EV, and who conspicuously does NOT want to drive a T.

Lived 43 years Car Free, but forced into buying one this year because the housing crisis pushed us into the burbs.
I have a Leaf, fully electric. Really like it.
Hybrid is more practical of course, because of the flexibility. But around the city it’s perfect.

Phew, I got a little behind on my #Reading2021 thread here. I have a few on the go, but I am up to 31 books read out of 40 for this year’s challenge. Worried I wasn’t going to hit my goal since I found so many good podcasts this year 😅

#NowReading2021 “Places” by Jakuchō Setouchi
This was just released by @UHPRESSNEWS.
She is a very powerful personality with a pretty wild life. Looking forward to see how this reads compared to the regular Buddhist fare I read 😅

Not to mention ENIC OUT and LEVY OUT and all the regular caveats.
But the squad is unbalanced and demotivated too, so that is something the manager can actually influence.

A shakeup needs to happen. Squad needs restructuring. I would welcome Conte if he could stay there for a few years and actually BUILD something. Like Poch did. Love Poch. But Conte tends to burn hot and fast. No more revolving doors! 🔄
