Also to add to @jessmartin’s point, the SOCIAL infra around protocol adoption (thinking of the working groups and associations etc) are much more established nowadays compared to the past. That is why an inflection, or a paradigm shift, like ✌️web3 ✌️ mean new fast movers

Clear moon through pink clouds. Dramatic skies over Kyoto, but I miss taking photos of these skies over the beaches of Iki!

Only 100 meters. It was built in 1964. There is no aircon up there! (They have wheeled in a bunch of mobile units) https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyoto_Tower

C’mon @Spotify it has been 4 years and 95 pages of comments since this Idea has been submitted. I am sick of having the likes of Rogan and Peterson staring at me all day at work. Let us customize or at least BLOCK content 😡 https://community.spotify.com/t5/Live-Ideas/All-Platforms-Customize-Start-Screen/idi-p/4528183

Yes, this place is right across from the bus station. Probably been a bus tour hotel for a long time. That could be it.

Was it an old hotel? This hotel dates back to the 60s. Maybe that is why the rooms are so huge? 🤷♂️

Welp, right after picking up the van this morn we had a surprise trip to the ER (I suppose they are always a surprise) and now we are staying at a hotel for the night. Everyone is okay and I was able to somehow get everything into the apartment. So… success? 🤷🏽♀️ https://twitter.com/chadkoh/status/1553522886581059584

We are moving from one part of Kyoto to another. So not a big move. Bht this next place should do us for at least a year. Phew! 😮💨

We certainly have shed a lot of unnecessary things these past few years!
But I wouldn’t mind just staying still and letting the kids actually make some longer term friends.

Absolutely. Focus on hyper-individualism ends up in anti-social territory. You don’t need government, society, or community. You just need to make your bed and be a man. 🙄
