I’m 75% through Murakami Haruki’s massive 1Q84. His writing always evokes feelings of loneliness which for me triggers homesickness for Kyoto. So even though I have lots of other books I am *supposed* to be reading, I shuffled Alex Kerr’s to the top. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/33394361

Back from 1500km round trip to Prince George. Phew! Long drives! I learned a bit about the North. BC has some *wild* places. Only a few weeks ago we were way down south at Midway and in the Wedt Kootenays. Been a good summer for travelling the province.

How was KSS? Kyoto is my hometown in Japan, I go back every year or so, but I haven’t done a Coffee Hours with local entrepreneurs for a few years now, and am out of the loop. It looks like the startup scene there is picking up!

What is your “catch phrase”? What do people in your teams always hear you say?
For me, it is “What is the context?”
Whenever I am describing a problem, or one of my team brings me a problem, these words come out of my mouth like clockwork.
