Sitting in the room looking out over the port and enjoying a morning coffee. #ikijima
Today we will be shopping for a fridge, washing machine, etc in prep for the move this weekend. I can LITERALLY see my house from here.

Just signed the contract in the house! We have basically been homeless since late Feb, so this is a huge relief. In celebration, here is a pic of the kids playing beside the cliffs from yesterday. 🎏 #ikijima

Re-upping a higher res vid from my phone earlier today as we rode a nearly empty bullet train between Kyoto and Hiroshima. We took a boat afterwards, and are now ensconced in our nice guesthouse on Iki (see the treehouse in my last tweet) https://flic.kr/p/2iXSd3Z

We are staying in a guesthouse on Iki before moving into the new house next week. This place is great! I will upload more pics once the weather is better, but here is a quick tour of the treehouse (!)

Just love this massive aquarium in the waiting room of the ferry terminal. They have mantas, sharks, and a giant sea turtle and a ton of fish that I can only identify as characters from Finding Nemo.

#todayswalk (from 2 days ago since my internet is spotty). This wide-angle vid was taken with my new iPad. First time for iPad photography! The giant tree you see in the middle of the temple is actually a Sakura 🌸. It looks amazing in bloom… https://www.flickr.com/gp/sandbaggerone/913aA3

Really good episode. I have participated in hearings before and it is interesting to hear about how represented the blind community was in the 1950s, which accounts for some of the amazing infra you see here. But so many other communities ignored! https://twitter.com/JapanOTR/status/1252975624668528641
