I’m 75% through Murakami Haruki’s massive 1Q84. His writing always evokes feelings of loneliness which for me triggers homesickness for Kyoto. So even though I have lots of other books I am *supposed* to be reading, I shuffled Alex Kerr’s to the top. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/33394361
